Georgia also made an offer to him, but he ultimately chose to join Ryan Day’s football program at Ohio State. Kim played a key role in helping him make that decision, although she recognizes that she had support. Interestingly, Stroud has a connection to one of the greatest athletes in history. Jim Thorpe, a legendary Olympic athlete who has a college football award named after him, is a distant relative on Kim’s side of the family.
