Jordan had three children with his ex-wife, Juanita Vanoy. They were married for 17 years. Their names are Jeffrey (34 years old), Marcus (32 years old), and Jasmine (30 years old). He also has twins with his current wife, Yvette Prieto, whom he’s been married to for the past 10 years. The twins, Victoria and Ysabel, were born in February 2014, and they are now both nine years old.

Jeffrey Jordan

Jeffrey Jordan likely faced the most challenges among Michael Jordan’s kids. He was born on November 18, 1988, and from a very young age, he was constantly in the spotlight due to media attention and basketball fans’ interest. His father, the legendary Chicago Bulls superstar, was considered the ultimate basketball icon of that era, casting a huge shadow over Jeffrey. Even during his high school years at Loyola Academy, ESPN featured and broadcasted three of his games nationwide, intensifying the pressure to meet high expectations. Additionally, Jeffrey Jordan received an invitation to play in the Jordan Brand Classic, an All-Star game that showcased the best high-school prospects in America, further highlighting the challenges he faced.

Jeffrey Jordan attended the University of Illinois after high school but played a limited role on their basketball team for three seasons, averaging 1.2 points and 1.1 assists in 92 games. It became evident that he wouldn’t pursue an NBA career like his father. He later transferred to the University of Central Florida (UCF), played briefly, and then decided to focus on life beyond basketball. During his transfer from Illinois to UCF, he worked as an intern for Nike.

Marcus Jordan, born on December 24, 1990, teamed up with his older brother Jeffrey Jordan for two high school basketball seasons at Loyola Academy, achieving great success. Marcus later transferred to Whitney Young Magnet High School for two more seasons before joining the University of Central Florida (UCF). At UCF, he briefly played alongside Jeffrey before Jeffrey retired from basketball.

Marcus Jordan graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in hospitality management. He didn’t make it to the NBA, similar to his brother Jeffrey. In 2016, he opened the “Trophy Room,” a sneaker store in Walt Disney, featuring top-notch footwear and a collection of his father’s NBA memorabilia, making it a prestigious venture for Marcus.

Jasmine Jordan

Jasmine Jordan chose not to pursue basketball like her brothers. Instead, she studied sports management at Syracuse University and met her future husband, Rakeem Christmas, who was a standout player there. In December 2019, they became parents to a son named Rakeem Michael Christmas, making Michael Jordan a proud grandfather.
